Introductory document The Centre has disseminated an analysis of the issues regarding the economic analysis of the four “P's” of public health, previously produced by Professor Goldsmith and translated by the Centre in order to make it available to a larger audience.
An update of this document is underway in order to develop the dimension of economic analyses of healthy public policies.
Needs identification workshops In collaboration with the provincial public health associations, the Centre has also hosted workshops with public health actors. The goal was to explore how the methods and tools of economic evaluation could support the promotion of healthy public policies.
A first workshop was held in Edmonton in March, 2009, and a second was held in Montréal in March 2009. |
