Call for applications - NCCPH KT awards for graduate students
Once again, the six NCCs are recognizing the work of graduate students in Canada with knowledge translation awards. The application deadline for these awards is December 12, 2017.
November 2017. Description

The objective of the NCCPH Knowledge Translation Awards is to recognize the work of graduate students in Canada.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research define knowledge translation as a dynamic and iterative process that includes synthesis, dissemination, exchange and ethically-sound application of knowledge to improve the health of Canadians, provide more effective health services and products and strengthen the health care system.

Up to three awards will be given at Public Health 2018, this year's annual Canadian Public Health Association conference. Travel, accommodation and registration fees to attend Public Health 2018, will be covered up to a maximum of $1,500. Following the conference, the award winners will be required to give a webinar on their topic as an opportunity to make their work known within public health networks in Canada.
