Presentation – Overcoming Common Gaps in KT Approaches

In June 2017, the 3rd annual Applied Public Health Chairs meeting was co-hosted in Ottawa by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research's Institute of Population and Public Health.

The NCCHPP's Florence Morestin was invited to participate on a panel entitled “KT & communications: Getting your research on the policy agenda”. In this context, she outlined a few avenues for overcoming three common gaps in knowledge translation approaches aimed at influencing public policy development.
