Employment opportunity: Communications & Knowledge Translation Manager for the 6 NCCs
The University of Manitoba is seeking a bilingual Communications & Knowledge Translation Manager who will work for the six National Collaborating Centres for Public Health. (

Acting for the communications committee, the Communications & Knowledge Translation Manager will organize all communications and public relations initiatives and will facilitate the implementation of an integrated communications strategy for the National Collaborating Centres for Public Health (NCCPH).

The successful candidate will execute and evaluate all communication programs (print, web and other media) in order to keep key interested parties informed and engaged, and to inform and engage the base of users. He or she will manage the communications budget, source suppliers and manage the contracts and timelines necessary to deliver NCCPH communications materials. This includes coordinating the development, translation, proofreading, design and printing of NCCPH products with relevant contractors and with the communications committee. He or she will also coordinate and manage the formatting, design and content development of new knowledge products and knowledge-brokering mechanisms, such as the NCCPH website, databases, publications and online presence.

This is a part-time (3 - 4 days/week) position based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Some occasional travel within Canada is required. Bilingualism (English, French) is essential.
